Joel, you have a very valid point. If I'm not mistaken, the practice of closing an auction to make a deal on the side is totally against EBAY's policy. But we all know it happens all the time. To be honest, I haven't been down that road yet but if I had a solid chance of getting a chip for a once in a lifetime steal, I can't say I would for sure but there would be a little voice telling me to go for it. Who knows?
