Yes, Mitch got kind of screwed when he offered to purchase the chip if the seller ended the auction early. Then the deal was accepted, and then was reneged.

But is it considered "ethical" to ask a seller to end an auction early to make a "deal" on the side?

I'm not saying it is or it isn't..just food for thought..
