Here's link to an ebay auction that closed a few days ago -- an old small-key Sahara $5 building chip that sold for $14,000. (Nice chip!!!)
The auction mentions a "B. K. Hotchkiss", who I presume was the chip owner. I've never heard of him, as far as famous collections go, but maybe he's not a high-profile collector? Anyone know him?
The chip was sold from a Chico, CA address, so maybe a NorCal collector ... or just a 1950's era chip that survived in the desk drawer all these years?
Just curious.
