I left my ipad mini in the back seat of a taxi on Tuesday. Had not memorized the cab number but Gold Coast security helped me by reviewing the security tape from the hotel entrance and got the info for me. Called A CAB and they said the driver had reported it and would deliver it to me the next day. He did as he promised and I only had a $15 fare for the delivery to the Palm, and left a $40 tip for the recovering driver, as he saved me a lot of trouble in replacing and reloading it.

I noticed that Las Vegas is one of the larger cities that has not allowed the Uber app to be used to summon cabs and independent drivers. There is something to be said for professional drivers and a cab company with a reputation maintain!
