Mr.San Diego State, and Hawaii Isalners

It a hurt and big lost for me. One Year Younger than me, played at San Diego State (in WAC) where University of Hawaii was a member of. I saw in on TV (he was a 1st team Basketball point guard) and a All American Baseball player. He played triple A baseball for the Hawaii Islanders and I saw in play here. He was a very unappreciated Sports Super Star by the Sports Media. His rookie Baseball card season was 1983 . Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg (all of these 3 members) are 1st ballad Hall of Famers. But Tony Gywnn, was numero uno (8 batting Titles and a lifetime 337 average) And his strike out ratio was one of the best and still managed to hit for almost 200 carrier home runs. When God made his mold, he destroyed it! There will never be another baseball player like Tony Gywnn!
