El Cortez is one of my favorites! The Vintage rooms are nice but small, especially the bathrooms. The Pavillion rooms and much bigger than the Vintage and are convenient to parking. My favorite rooms are the Tower and Cabana Suites. Ask for a higher floor.

There are nicer places to stay downtown but you will pay a lot more!
