I was in a friends room in the GN a couple of years ago and it was very nice. Long walk through the casino to get out to Fremont street.
Union Plaza may have been remodeled, but the room I was in there several years ago was Jail Cell small to start with. Not a big deal if you're not going to spend any time in the room except to sleep.
