at a profit then you have a lot of company including me. Maybe you forgot the first rule in collecting. Collect because you like to, not because you expect to make a profit. I will never get out of my collection what I put into it but the fun of the search and the people you met make it worthwhile. I have a friend that collects Coca Cola. He has two rooms packed to the ceiling with the items. Only problem is, he is planning on his collection for retirement. This is far more risky than playing the stock market. Yes there are those that have the savvy to collect for profit or started long enough ago to benefit from long term appreciation. But there are more that have bins full of chips that won't get face value. Only you can decide, pleasure or profit. Good luck.
