If you have never been to a convention trade session (or if this is your first convention) I urge you to go. The sessions can be some of the most fun you will have. You will get to meet many of the people on this board and make some new friends. Don't worry if you don't have a lot of traders or don't have rare items. All types of chips are needed by the traders there including recent issues. For example, I collect riverboat chips but have stopped chasing after all of the new chips that come out. But I will happily trade for anything I don't have since I have way too many traders.

Some of the more popular types of chips traded are Illegals (my favorite), foreign, cruise ships, roulettes, silver strikes and of course regular casino chips. Plus just about any other type of chip you can think of.

If you plan to go this year I urge you to PREREGISTER NOW! If you do not preregister you cannot attend the Wednesday sessions (since you need to have your ID badge on you) and they are the best (next is the final dance on Saturday). The Wednesday sessions are so good because everyone is just getting there and you get the best selection of chips. Many times there is only one of that chip you need and the first trader gets it!
