I'd like to see that done more often, Jim

There are a number of cases on The Chip Guide where chips are shown that have the same design but varieties differ in color. Unless the scans come from the same submitter and are done at the same time, the colors seen on the screen are of little use to the collector trying to determine what he has.

I know that Charles doesn't like to replace the first submitter's scan with a different submitter's scan because the record of who was first is lost. In the case of color varieties, I think eventually we will have to find a way for the viewer to make reasonable colors comparisons on his PC screen.
