Interesting idea. But do you really want your collection, or the contents of your house stored on the Amazon servers? It's supposed to be secure, but is anything on the net really secure these days?

There are apps that let you keep the scans on your own device. With huge discs and solid state storage cheap these days, that's the option I prefer.
