Not too surprising about Tunica in general but Harrah's attitude seems really dumb! Let's face it, except for Harrah's golf, there's not much in Tunica other than gaming. A few years ago, one of the casinos (Roadhouse?) sold me a bunch of "foreign" chips. Why not? Saved them the trouble of cashing them in. And made a few bucks for the cage personnel. Back to Tunica. As I recall, Tunica county was the poorest in the country when gambling came. So the casinos depend on Memphis and tourism. Doesn't seem like enough to support 7 or 8 casinos (not sure how many there are). And weren't there 2 or 3 that lasted a very short time? Circus Circus, Splash, can't think of the others.
