Here's the first use I've seen of a QR code on a chip used for advertising. Some smart phones with cameras can scan advertisements (or the chip, in this case) to provide quick access to the advertiser on the www.

QR (Quick Response) code is two dimensional and can hold not just a URL, but as many as several thousand characters, many more than in a conventional bar code.

A QR image on your personal chip, for instance, could direct the user to your personal web site.
