Photo copy write question?

This may have been discussed before but, I'm still uncertain of what photos I can post on this BB. I had planned to post some chips from an old club with photos for added information about the club. The club opened in 1910 in Argentina. From what I have been able to find out from Argentine copy write law, the copy writes for photos only covers 25 years. After that it would be in the public domain... Yes, No?? What about photos on web sites that have a copy write? If it's a photo is from a hundred years ago can they claim any ownership of the photo what so ever to begin with? Even though they have it on their web site is it still a photo in the public domain. To post here as educational is not the same as taking it for any commercial endeavor. Anyone know the answer?
