Extra! Greg Susong Memorial Award Extra!

The latest edition of the ccgtcc’s award-winning magazine included a ballot for the 2014 version of the Greg Susong Award. As noted on the ballot “ The Greg Susong Memorial Award is given to the person that you feel has made the greatest contributions to the ccgtcc and the chip collecting hobby, in addition to having the greatest impact on advancing the chip collecting hobby throughout 2013. Consideration should include contributions in all facets of the hobby, both online, in print and in person at ccgtcc functions.” This year’s nominees are (in order of listing on the ballot):

Doug Smith
Mike Quinlivan
Andy Hughes

Please take the time to complete & send in your ballot for the person that you feel is most deserving of this wonderful award. You can also down-load the PDF version of the ballot from the club’s website (thanks, David) by following the link provided http://www.ccgtcc.com/2014SusongBallot.pdf .

Because of the delay in mailing this latest magazine edition, the deadline for sending your Greg Susong Memorial Award ballot has been extended until May 20th. There are a number of ways for you to get your ballot / vote to me – snail mail, send a copy via e-mail to membership@ccgtcc.com or simply send an email to that same e-mail address letting me know who you’d like to cast your vote for.

In closing, I’d like to note that this award honors someone that was not only a great friend to many of us, but also to the ccgtcc and the gaming collectibles hobby – Greg Susong. Please take the time to honor those in your hobby that have also given to our hobby & that have helped to make it so enjoyable & rewarding.

Thank you & thanks to those that have already sent in their votes!! grin
