It depends on the chip & how much it is off
In Response To: Inlay Question ()

Many chips have off-centered inlays...they're not really errors, just poor workmanship. Then again, if the inlay is REALLY off (as in it is off-set out of the depressed inlay area) many consider it an error chip. I think that most collectors would like to have as near to a perfectly centered inlay as possible. On a higher end chip, a chip with a perfectly centered inlay MIGHT get a few more dollars than one with a slightly off-set inlay.
