In the picture, the upper inlay looks whiter than the lower inlay, and you can't see the crosshatching. If you post a much higher resolution scan, then you can see both better, to determine whether it was done by the manufacturer or is a modified chip. If it's a true manufacturer error, it's pretty cool.
