had a meltdown three weeks ago & had to buy another. I opted for an iMac...never had used an Apple computer, although my daughter used one all through college. It is one FANTASTIC machine -- it just takes a little getting used to finding where things are located, but I doubt that I'll ever go back to a PC. My nephew is a VP in computers & peripherals with Best Buy & his top three recommendations were all versions of the iMac. When asked about a Windows7-based product, he actually recommended a couple of laptops -- HP & ASES (sp?), but the iMac was just so much better.
