ChipGuide shows denominations of this series listed in at least two casinos; Cadino de Plombieres-les-Bains (understandable) and another listing for Saint Gilles Croix de Vie -- with a notation: "not sure these belong to the casino" which is also understanable.
In May of 1995, a family member of Grand Cercle Aix-les-Bains delivered a 4-piece set of these (in duplicate) to the sole owner of a casino in the region in order to include them in a shipment being sent to my front door. Within the shipment; a note taped to these reading: "These were used at Aix-les-Bains casino."
Later, I learned that Aix-les-Bains had one Boule table at the time of use.
As you can see, there was a denomination adjustment to conform with a reform act years prior.
There is no knowing for which casino they were made for, though we do know that Caro sent the 5f to Plombieres-les-Bains...
One other note, all my yellow plaques had the file mark on one edge.
