no longer have possession of the chip, the scan is still yours & you can submit that scan to the Chip Guide. The problem has been that some people have taken pictures / scans from other websites (like this one, eBay or in the case noted, from the Australian Chip Guide) without the permission of the person that "owns" those scans / pictures. That's stealing. There are many people that post here -- John Benedict comes to mind -- who note in many of their post(s) that the image(s) provided can be used for the Chip Guide.
