We only touched on it at the BoD meeting in terms of agreeing the statements on the site needed to be clearer (which Charles immediately sorted).
Turns out that only scratched the surface.
I had mentioned a specific item that I had posted here and clearly stated 'no you cant use the scan because its not mine and the owner doesnt give permission'.
Sure enough it was on chipguide a day or two later and the owner had a fit.
I discovered a number of past items of mine on there that had been submitted without asking me, with the same danger that some were not mine and there could be repercussions. That is why I stated the 'laws' clearly that it is not public domain just because it is posted here.
Anyway, when Charles did some investigation over those submissions, he found that a certain Vic G. was the culprit, and he had also done the same thing with scans from Tim Harry's site - from memory something like 400 pictures taken without permission.
I think the credits on chipguide were a mix of the owner, Vic, and blank.
As far as I recall Charles either credited scans correctly or removed them, and wiped everything else attributed to Vic.
