Sporting Club, London - the young one!

Yes they were issued a license and was trading under Ritz Casino as the licensee and the Grand Metropolitan as the owner by the

Gaming Board in Dec 31, 1979. By that time the Pleasurama Leisure bought the Grant Metropolitan casinos.

I think the Ritz was one time a member of the London Clubs International before Caesars Entertainment acquired the new setup without the Ritz Casino.

The Victoria Casino you are referring to is the one on 150-162 Edgeware Rd, London W2 2DT right? Whose license was cancelled and

suspended for 3 years by the Gaming Board in March 1979. Whose operation was taken over by Playboy Enterprises in Oct 1979.

Trident Victoria Casino was granted casino license in Dec 31, 1979. After Playboy it became a Grosvenor Casino when Trident sold out.

But there was also a Victoria Sporting Club in Bournemouth, UK, on 4 Terrace Road Bournemouth BH2 5NN a casino once owned by the

Hamblin Leisure Group, which was trading under Victoria Sporting Club, founded in Sep 12, 1972 and dissolved in Sep 26, 2006

when they sold the casino.

Thank you for the inputs.
