Had the same problem, contacted aol and they told me to first, change your password ASAP, they cannot continue to do it once you change your email password. And second, wait patiently for about a day while your friends tell you that your email has been hacked!!

Is not a big deal, they mostly use it to advertise, Good Luck!!
