I am seriously interested in checking out the remodeled Cal Neva when it reopens in December (or later). I have never been to anyplace in Nevada except the LV area. How does the Lake experience compare? Should I book in Reno and just travel to the Cal Neva? When is a good time of the year to visit and any other advice you may have would be appreciated.
