Christine & I were semi regulars and played with Jackie many times. He always rubbed my head, he was as bald as I am! We always enjoyed his play, he held his cards out if front of him, some people cheated on him, we never, ever looked, if I sat next to Jackie I always turned away if he and I were both in the hand!

He will be missed! It is my HUMBLE OPINION that closing the El Cortez poker room several months ago hastened his end! He was a gentleman, many of his former employees remember him very fondly! When they announced the closing of the poker room we heard, true or not we don't know!, that at least two employees, current and former, offered to pay the El Cortez to keep the poker room open! We also heard that his son Micheal made the same offer!
