That's one of many nice things about SouthWest (change fees and baggage fees probably being the top two). In the other 3 major airlines (UA, DL, US/AA) if the price goes down and you try to rebook, you run into the $200 booking fee and you lose the incentive of the lower price so it becomes a timing game.
