Awhile back, probably in 2004 or so, I sent Foxwoods a scan of the chip
shown on the right in the top scan below and asked if it was still valid, etc.
They wrote back that the chip was no longer in play. They said they would
cash it in if I wished but it would probably be worth more to a collector.
The chips were used in the bingo parlor. For some reason the newer chips
they'd ordered for their new casino were late arriving, so they used the old
chips until the order came through.
The bingo parlor opened in 1986 and the casino became a reality in 1992.
$1 Foxwoods chips in top row are the same on both sides. Scan in second
row shows both sides. Not sure when the chip on the left in top row came
was in play.
