Re: It's always fun working on bids for LV casinos

The proposed site -- on the north side of Sahara Blvd. -- is part of CITY of Las Vegas boundary, rather than Paradise, where most of the Strip casinos are located. So the city will get to count gaming revenues for tax purposes. The Mayor and x-Mayor will like that!

Would be better on the south side of Sahara IMO, for traffic flow exiting off the freeway, but hopefully that will be addressed.
The neighborhood behind isn't the best either. Wasn't that area nicknamed "Naked City" at one time... or still?

Hope the project gets off the ground with funding. Maybe some big-baccarat action & even plaques?

On Page 11, it is stated...
We are a "specialty contractor" & the GC (Penta)
At least they gavi it a real name, not The L or LD
confirmed opening or not?
