Stealing is such a crass term for harvesting chips....I prefer to think of it as the re-purposing of a chip that would otherwise suffer an ignominious fate as a dirty, chipped, and worn marker that would one day be unceremoniously cancelled, discarded or worse yet, viciously cast into a cement mixer.
Besides, you pay good money for the chips at the table, shouldn't you be able to do with them as you wish?
