A bit more chipping than usual going on the east coast I would suspect -- we're not going anywhere in Northern Virginia. 14 inches with 3-7 more on the way before it is all done tonight.

I got a new chip for my 'cents chips with inlays' collection - check it out below. I already had the SCV version, but I always like to pick up a mold or inlay variety when I can -- in this case an LCV H&C. I'll be submitting it to the ChipGuide which does not list this variety.

And the chip is real looker! A palette of purple with the simple black text in the inlay brought out by the black edgespots. A what-were-they-thinking addition of accompanying carolina blue edgespots is a bit odd, but hey, it works! Lots of horizontal action to contrast with the simple circular field with the denom. Classy and nice!
