I knew Jim from the 1000's of the TITO scans he contributed to the ChipGuide and the conventions. At first he sent me raw pictures that I had to edit before putting them up on the ChipGuide. He took my Chip Scanning 101 class and immediately began submitting images that were ChipGuide ready. He received the first "Certified ChipGuide Submitter" certificate. He was recognized at the last convention, along with several other collectors, for their outstanding contributions to the ChipGuide. At my convention seminars, he always sat up front on the right side. He was a gentleman, a treasure to our hobby, and someone that I will surely miss.
