About two weeks ago I spoke to Dan Heneghan at the Casino Control Commission who referred me back over to the Division of Gaming Enforcement, I called the DGE and left a voicemail message and about 24 hours later a representative from the DGE did call me back, In that conversation he stated that in regards to chips, tokens and TITO redemptions yes they remain valid under the Casino Control Act of 1977 (As was the case with Playboy, Atlantis and Sands) but because the Atlantic Club filed for bankruptcy under federal law the DGE states that federal law supersedes state law and therefore yes in this case redemptions will have to be done as Creditors-in-Interest. The person I spoke to at the DGE (whose name I can't remember) said he was scheduled to have a meeting with someone at the Attorney General's office and he would ask her for some clarification (As of this post I haven't heard back yet).
