They have or had in AC all casinos have to cash their chips. Playboy is a parking lot now so no casino there to cash them in... The casino Control commission has an account with a lot of money in there to cover all the missing playboy chips that people never cashed in. Its getting interest over all those years and you will get $500 plus interest as I understand it? I have never cashed anything in myself so Im not sure... Thats what I was told years ago...

IN AC when a Casino sells the casino that takes its place usually has to cash in their old chips... Like the Atlantic Club... They opened as the Golden Nugget then Ballys Grand Then Hilton... So when Atlantic Club took over they cashed in all the GN Grand and Hilton chips... Until the Atlantic Club mess all AC chips could be cashed in. Im not sure what going to happen to the chip fund being they went bankrupt???? All those might be worth nothing but collectors value???
