Can you remember 26 cent gasoline? In the 50's we always had a gas war and the average price of gas was 16 cents a gallon. Heck, I am so old I remember some of those cars when they were new. In fact I owned a '50 before buying a brand new '59 with the wings and tear drop tail lights. Now all cars look alike, absolutely no pizazz.
