Keith, I think you'll find two listings for the gray $1 Paddlewheel chip, TCR N1994.

The first - the D value - is for a well-used example of the chip.

The second, an M value - is for a slightly used example, with the notation in TCR "condition rarity."

It's important to look at the condition column in TCR.
