As a young investigative reporter during my 48 years as a journalist, I can truly say if you dig deeper into all the facts, one day a true story will provide a wonderful, complete picture albeit whatever the subject. Getting to this level takes time, dedication and hard work. Like looking for needles in a giant haystack, a huge pile of hay must be moved before a shiny, metal object comes into focus. Congratulations to those dedicated hobbyists willing to perform this tedious work because without them, historical perspective goes unnoticed and is lost forever. Thankfully, this hobby has those "needle-finders," and everyone should be grateful their expertise in this field contributes greatly to perpetuate this extremely difficult to chronicle era of illegal gaming that was part of this nation's past.
