Re: ANY INFORMATION ON THESE CHIPS?

The Yellow STAR is called an antique "reverse inlaid" Wheel chip. Used for Roulette and the game of FARO. This type of chip was introduced in the very early 1900s and they were made past mid century. They were made in hundreds of designs with several colors for each design, most are common, and all are collectible. If you intend on collecting Antique chips you will need the guide book Antique Gambling chips by Dale Seymour. Get the REVISED EDITION. Your chip is Seymour Coded PW-QJ STAR.

The other chip is also an antique chip. It is a monogram RB probably for a name of the person they were made for... or sometimes a club or illegal game. Also very collectible especially if you can track them back to the original owner. The "H" inlaid chip below was found at an estate sale from man named Heidi Orr. Mr. Orr was active with illegal clubs in the mid-west in the 30s. The chip was most likely from his personal set and it is unusual because it is both inlaid and engraved telling us nothing other than Mr. Orr knew how to special order poker chips! I hope that helps.
