Rick; Some people are just plain ignorant about simple courtesy. It's like they were not taught any manners during their childhood. Some will never say thank you if you hold a door open for them, nor will they say excuse me while they brush past you when they are in a hurry. They often will not dim their high beam headlights at night for oncoming traffic and will ride your bumper to get you to pull over to the shoulder as if they own the road. I heard a story about a person saying to a patron in a store "have a nice day". . . to which the reply was, "don't tell me what to do".
