of us at one time or another, either losing an auction by a few cents or winning one by a few cents. Here's a hint...don't bid even dollars. If your "proxy" bid was $25.01 instead of $25.00, you may have won the auction by being the first bidder at that amount had the eventual winner not had the time (or desire) to bid again.
