I placed a $25.00 maximum bid for a chip on an e-bay auction. The bidding increments were $.50. When the auction ended I missed winning the chip by $.01. Can anyone explaine to me how someone was able to bid $25.01 when I had a maxium bid of $25.00?

Yeah, I am a little bent out of shape over this. If I had lost be $.50 or more I wouldn't have thought anything about it, but hate to lose by 1 cent. Oh well, guess I'll get over it.
