More on the Osborne CIC chips: Sahara Reno 100

The BudJones CIC high denomination chips that Carl Osborne had remade after the casinos closed get discussed once or twice a year. I'm still not absolutely clear on the distinction between the casino issues and the Osborne issues.

Here is a scan of two Sahara Reno 100's. One has plain coin and the other has concentric circles (polishing by spinning). Both appear to me to have square edges with no beveling.

The note in TCR states that all the Osborne remakes were plain coin surface and all had square edges. I'm not sure where this history came from.

The scans in The Chip Guide for the two catalog numbers below both show plain coins. It's not possible to tell about the edges from the scan. Both are from TerryShaffer, so maybe he can clarify this part of the question.

I'd like an opinion on these two. Were there really some Osborne chips with spun centers? Were there really some casino issues with spun centers? (none in TCR) Were there any casino issues made with square, non-beveled edges?

TCR numbers for the Sahara Reno $100 are N5510 and N5510.1.
