The other info mentioned there states that gaming there is controlled by a commission established in 1968. They mention only one property that does not need to be in a four or five star hotel and it's the Maunaloa which existed before 1968.

Evidently their info is not correct and I should have checked it out before passing it on.

Maybe they mean Ramada Renaissance took over the "hotel" in 1987... It did seem strange to me with such older manufactured chips existing.
