Just to give everyone an idea of the cost increases just the convention room rental is going up $5000 next year. I believe that the South Point also has raised the costs of almost everything else we get from them (mainly the catering at events like the seminars, etc). Overall I will be surprised if we break even at the next convention. But the consideration is that we are a club not a "for profit" corporation. It is very important that we get as many people to attend as possible, both members and non-members. Preregistration is a great option with all of the goodies that are included in the package. I think if you used all of last years coupons and the chip the actual cost to get in was almost free. And don't forget the early entry on Thursday.
Don't forget to book your rooms at South Point for as many nights as you can. You probably will not get a better rate (unless you are getting comped somewhere) and the club benefits the more rooms we can book. Last year we filled our room allotment and more. We hope to have the same results this year since the Electric Daisy Carnival will be the same weekend again and room rates will be very high elsewhere.
