I have both the "roll" and this cool souvenir photo from the Golden Goose. We found these at a flea market here in Northern California. There were several of the rolls and Carol's curiosity got the best of her - they are indeed just a piece of wood on the inside. The Golden Goose did have a great neon sign though.

Now that I look at this photo, it may have been given out by the Casino Center and not the Golden Goose?
