If the casinos are not significantly closer to the metro area than the existing options in upstate NY, NJ and CT, then I don't really see how it will impact much. It appears they have tried to keep the casinos away from the metro area, supposedly to spur economic growth in upstate areas, so I doubt it will change much. I could be wrong, though. Time will tell.
