It was the original club that Harrah's built (originally Georges Gateway Club) - Harrah's built across as Bill Harrah amassed more land on the other side of the street - the original club was then mainly used for overflow in the busy summer season. It was just branded the Thrifty Gambler in 1969 and then it was sold to Harvey's.
