I just returned from a brief trip to Northern California. While I was there, I drove around a bit and discovered the new Bourbon Square Casino in Sparks! It is just across the street from the now closed Silver Club, near Victorian Square. According to the Shift Manager, it opened approx. 3 months ago. It is slots only at this time but table games (and chips) on the way. I picked up this brochure and a blank "Player's Choice" card. I also went to North Shore of Lake Tahoe and saw that the Cal-Neva was closed and "Under Renovation." I knew they were remodeling but did not know it had closed. I also happen to have a $9.00 cashout ticket (that I found in a pocket after I left!) for anyone who may be going to the Crystal Bay Club (North Shore) in the next six (6) months. I won't and it's your for an email and an address!

I left Truckee Sunday night as it was starting to snow! I spent a night at Harrah's, Reno, in a luxury suite on the 22nd floor. It was a nice suite but the wind was blowing so hard it sounded like fireworks outside the windows!

Safe plane ride home on Monday and happy to be back on the "Board."
