Dear Fellow CC>CC Chippers,
I accompanied my wife to Reno for her company's convention a few weeks ago. It was our first visit to Reno. We stayed at the Sliver Legacy. They gave us the Hawaiian Package, which included 4 dollar coupons for food and items in the gift shops.
My overall experience was awesome. Here are some of the reasons why:
Reno was cooler temp. Smelled like Christmas Pine trees outside.
Lots of Cowboys wearing ten gallon hats and big belt buckles. No spurs.
The Silver Legacy, as U Reno visitors and res know,....is one of three casino resorts under one roof.
The staff are very pleasant and friend.
Example: I was about to begin a black jack session. I sat on a table and gave my SL players card to the dealer. She gave it to the Pitt Boss. A few minutes later the BJ Pitt Boss politely addressed me and gave me back my Players card. Then she said something no Pitt Boss in Las Vegas ever, I mean never ever said to me......she said, "Mr. Kamm....Please remember you have 50 dollars worth of food credits in your Players Card. Remember to use 'em up!"
I was dumbfounded and delightedly awe struck by this genuine thoughtfulness towards me by a PITT BOSS!!!
My wife and I both enjoyed ourselves and we will go on vacation back to Reno rather than Las Vegas.
Also I had to fly back to HNL by myself. My wife left earlier. So there I was at the LAX airport waiting for my connecting flight to HNL.
Suddenly I heard over the PA......We are overbooked and need Volunteers to give up their seats. I jumped up and gave up my seat. I received a 800 AA dollar voucher. A Holiday Inn room and meal coupons.
The next day I was again back at LAX waiting for my flight back to HNL. Then over the PA.. We are really overbooked! We need Volunteers. I jumped up and hurtled over waiting passengers and gave up my seat again!! This time I received a 1,000 dollar voucher!!!! JACKPOTS!!!!!!
Now that I am retired....this could be a great pass time for me. LOL!!!
Unfortunately, the third day the flight was not overbooked. So no Hat Trick!!
Sincerely yours and Keep on Chipp'n!!!
