I remember when the Rocket came out. I was 10 years old and had never seen an aluminum pen, especially one that was anodized in colors and had a cap that snapped open and closed. Had to have one even though the $4 price would be about $25 today!

Worked, but not all that well. My dad was a banker and said they should be illegal, as you could transfer a signature written in ball point to another check just by using your finger tip. Very cool thing for a 4th grader to have and show off, though!
