There were a lot of taverns with gambling in Coos Bay. The problem is the Tavern owner could not receive funds from the gambling. Gambling was leased out.

I just researched 5 joints up there. All from the initials on the chips.
I had to call the persons that bought the chips. I wound up with 4 of the 5 Club names. Two more would not return calls.

Look for a phone for Earl in surrounding towns like Coos Bay - North Dent - Empire, Oregon.

Mt guess Earl had several leased joints because of the different numbers on the chips.
